I had the recent good fortune to take part in a writing workshop, headed by Dylan Brody.

Among the things we worked on was my sketch attempt regarding current events. We covered a lot of useful ground. Dylan Brody is a charming and witty host, now rakishly sporting a long mane and musketeer beard. And his penchant for glowering at you from behind his professorial and unruly eyebrows gives new meaning to the term: “hairy eyeball.” Great stuff!

Alas, my sketch was improved, but not finished. I’ve got to clear my head and finish the dang thing. Growth is painful, and I am chagrined to be so rusty. Writing has come more easily in the past than it is now, and it’s quite painful. 🙂 I should be so lucky as to suffer at what I choose to do.
