Eat 'em and smile

As promised in my last post, I ate the escargot that have quietly beckoned from their can in the cupboard for untold months. Delicious!

My madness infects my children

My son ate two (after spitting out his initial bite), and my daughter ate two as well. I ate the remaining twenty or so, and slept remarkably well with a bellyful of snails, red wine, and other goodies. Envy me!

Sick of this crap

I am moving closer to blogging from a more modern and feature-rich blog apparatus. I tire of opening the sometimes-persnickety DreamWeaver and dicking around with HTML tags, just to jot down a few lines about life, liberty and the pursuit of Heineken. Just today, I had to clean up a wayward DIV tag to un-bone the presentation and markup that had gone awry. It's got to be easier than this...

Red wine makes me feel french

My wife picked me up some affordable red wine, and I am taking the all-too reasonable step of consuming said vino and Brie and Gouda cheeses before they expire. Am I not a rich man? With these comforts, I feel I am king among men.

Next on the menu: escargot. At long last!

Paris, plus cher

Expedia reports that San Fran to Paris, round trip, is at $679, much more than just weeks ago.

Too many commas in that last sentence, but screw it.

Speaking of blogging

I'm thinking a lot about this blog, and its format. I have been looking into moving it over to blogger.com, LiveJournal, Wordpress or something else. If anybody reading this has an experience to share, I welcome it.
